Chicken Tikka Delight

Ingredients
🍗 4 pieces of chicken breast, drumstick, or thigh
🍋 3 tablespoons lemon juice
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🌿 1 tablespoon garlic paste
🌿 1 tablespoon ginger paste
🥛 ¾ cup yogurt Dahi
🌶️ 1 teaspoon red chili powder
🌿 1 teaspoon whole spice powder Garam masala
🌿 1 teaspoon cumin powder Zeera powder
🌾 1 tablespoon roasted gram flour Baisan
🌿 ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder Haldee powder
🎨 ¼ teaspoon orange food color
🌿 ½ teaspoon carom seeds Ajwain
🌶️ 1 teaspoon crushed red chili
🌿 1 teaspoon chaat masala
🧈 1 tablespoon melted butter Makhan
Instructions
1- Prepare Chicken:
- Begin by making cuts on the chicken pieces to allow the marinade to penetrate deeply.
2- First Marination:
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, salt, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the chicken pieces and ensure they are well-coated. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
3- Second Marination:
- In another bowl, mix yogurt, red chili powder, whole spice powder, cumin powder, roasted gram flour, turmeric powder, orange food color, carom seeds, crushed red chili, and chaat masala into a smooth paste.
- Add the chicken from the first marination into this yogurt-spice mixture, coating it completely.
- Drizzle melted butter over the marinated chicken, mix well, and cover.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for enhanced flavors.
4- Cooking:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Arrange the chicken pieces on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking until the chicken is cooked through and has a beautiful char.
5- Optional Cooking Methods:
- You can alternatively grill or pan-fry the chicken until cooked and slightly charred for added flavors.
