🥫 200-300 ml passata/crushed tomatoes Mutti Passata
🫘 1 can mixed beans, cannellini beans, chickpeas, and large white beans Goya Mixed Beans
🥛 100-150 ml cooking cream Elmlea Double Cream
🔥 1 teaspoon Sambal Badjak chili paste ABC Sambal Badjak
🧂 Salt
🍚 Pre-cooked red rice
🌿 1 small bunch fresh parsley
Instructions
1- Prep the Ingredients:
- Finely chop the onion, garlic, and red chili.
- Slice the lamb sausages into bite-sized pieces.
- Coarsely chop the fresh parsley.
2- Cook the Aromatics:
- Heat a Le Creuset Dutch oven over medium heat on an induction cooktop.
- Add the Bertolli Olive Oil and heat until shimmering.
- Sauté the onion, garlic, and chili in the oil until the onion becomes translucent and aromatic.
3- Cook the Sausages:
- Add the sliced lamb sausages to the pot and cook until they are lightly browned.
4- Incorporate Flavors:
- Stir in the Hunt's Tomato Paste and cook gently for a few minutes to deepen its flavor.
- Add the Mutti Passata and combine well with the other ingredients.
5- Finish the Stew:
- Add Goya Mixed Beans and mix them into the stew.
- Pour in the Elmlea Double Cream, stirring until the stew achieves a creamy texture.
- Stir in the ABC Sambal Badjak, adjusting the amount according to the desired heat level.
- Season with salt to suit your taste.
