Ingredients
🐟 1 cup raw shredded fish fillet
🍋 Juice from 3 lemons
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
🍅 ¼ cup diced tomato
🧅 ¼ cup chopped onion
🌿 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
🌶️ 1 can (125g) La Costeña® Picado Chopped Pickled Jalapeños
🥙 8 corn tostadas
🥄 3 tablespoons La Costeña® Mayonesa con jugo de limones
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🧂 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
1- Prepare Fish Ceviche:
- In a clear glass mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of shredded raw fish fillet with lemon juice extracted from 3 lemons.
- Allow the mixture to rest in the refrigerator for approximately 8 minutes. This process uses the acidity of the lemon juice to "cook" the fish.
2- Mix Ceviche Ingredients:
- Remove the fish mixture from the refrigerator.
- In the same bowl, add ¼ cup of diced tomato, ¼ cup of chopped onion, 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and the entire can of La Costeña® chopped pickled jalapeños.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly using a metal spoon until all ingredients are well combined.
3- Assemble Tostadas:
- Take a corn tostada and evenly spread about 1-2 teaspoons of La Costeña® Mayonesa con jugo de limones on its surface.
- Spoon a generous portion of the prepared ceviche mixture onto the mayonnaise-coated tostada.
- Repeat the process for the remaining tostadas.
4- Season and Serve:
- Season each tostada with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the tostadas on a wooden serving platter alongside a stack of white plates.
