Swedish Gubbröra – Classic Sprat and Egg Mixture

Ingredients
🐟 1 can of Abba "Grebbeastads Ansjovis Original" marinated sprats
🥚 4 hard-boiled eggs
🥔 2 boiled potatoes
🧅 1 small red onion finely diced
🌿 A bunch of fresh dill finely chopped
🌿 A bunch of fresh chives finely chopped
🥛 Several spoonfuls of Köket Crème Fraiche optionally mixed with mayonnaise
🍋 A squeeze of fresh lemon juice from half a lemon
Instructions
1- Prepare Sprats:
- Open the can of Abba "Ansjovis Original" marinated sprats using a standard can opener.
- Carefully transfer them onto a wooden cutting board.
2- Chop Sprats:
- Using a GLOBAL chef's knife, finely chop the marinated sprats into small pieces.
- Transfer the chopped sprats, along with any juices, into a light grey ceramic mixing bowl.
3- Dice Eggs:
- Dice the 4 hard-boiled eggs into small, even pieces.
- Add them to the bowl with the sprats.
4- Dice Potatoes:
- Dice the 2 boiled potatoes into small pieces.
- Add them to the mixing bowl.
5- Chop Aromatics:
- Finely chop the red onion, dill, and chives.
- Add these to the bowl for an aromatic boost.
6- Add Cream:
- Mix in several spoonfuls of Köket Crème Fraiche, adding a little mayonnaise if desired, to achieve a creamy consistency.
7- Mix:
- Thoroughly mix all ingredients in the bowl using a spoon or fork.
8- Season:
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to enhance the flavors.
