Instructions
1- Prepare the Meat Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper.
- Crack an egg over the mixture and thoroughly mix with a spoon until well combined.
2- Prepare the Cabbage:
- Chop the cabbage into medium-sized pieces.
- In a large frying pan, cook the cabbage until soft and slightly browned. Add soy sauce to taste during frying.
3- Assemble the Casserole:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Lightly grease a rectangular glass baking dish.
- Spread half of the fried cabbage evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Layer the meat mixture over the cabbage, spreading it evenly.
- Cover the meat layer with the remaining fried cabbage.
- Reserve any liquid from the frying pan for making gravy.
4- Bake the Casserole:
- Place the assembled casserole in the preheated oven.
