Ingredients

πŸ₯ͺ 1/2 cup Cream Cheese
πŸ§„ 1 tsp Garlic Powder
🌿 1/2 tsp Rosemary, dried
🌢️ 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
🌢 Black Pepper, freshly ground
πŸ§‚ Salt, fine grain
πŸ§… 1/4 cup Diced Red Onions
🐟 1 whole Smoked Goldeye, deboned
🍞 Crackers, plain rectangular

Instructions

1- Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, rosemary, chili flakes, black pepper, and diced red onions.
  • Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture appears smooth and creamy with visible specks of red onion and spices.

2- Prepare the Smoked Goldeye:

  • Place the smoked goldeye fish on a SABATIER brand cutting board.
  • Carefully remove its skin using a dinner knife.
  • Debone the fish by gently separating the meat from the bones, flaking the meat onto a plate.

3- Assemble the Bites:

  • Take a cracker and spread a generous layer of the prepared cream cheese mixture onto its surface using a butter knife or spreader with an "M" initial on the handle.
  • Top the cream cheese layer with several pieces of the deboned smoked goldeye.

4- Serve and Garnish:

  • Arrange the prepared Smoked Goldeye Bites on a serving plate.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh sprigs of rosemary for an added touch of elegance and flavor.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
