Ingredients

โšซ 1 teaspoon McCormick black pepper
๐ŸŒฟ 1 teaspoon McCormick oregano
๐ŸŒฟ 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
๐ŸŒถ๏ธ 6-7 bell peppers, assorted colors (green, yellow, orange, red)


Instructions

1- Prepare the Filling:

  • Heat the Bertolli olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onions and sautรฉ until translucent.

2- Brown the Beef:

  • Add ground beef and cook until well-browned.
  • Stir and break it apart with a wooden spoon.

3- Incorporate Herbs:

  • Stir in the chopped parsley and dill.
  • Toss well to combine.

4- Add Tomatoes and Rice:

  • Pour in the blended tomatoes or tomato sauce and mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in the Mahatma white rice and gradually add water to maintain a moist mixture.

5- Season and Simmer:

  • Season with Salt, black pepper, oregano, and dill.
  • Continue to cook until the rice is partially cooked and the mixture is thick.

6- Cooling:

  • Remove from heat.
  • Let the filling cool slightly.

7- Prepare the Bell Peppers:

  • Wash and pat dry the bell peppers.
  • Cut off the stems and carefully remove seeds and membranes.

8- Stuff and Bake:

  • Spoon the filling into each bell pepper until almost full.
  • Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Arrange the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and slightly charred.
