Instructions

1- Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Dice the red onion into very fine pieces.
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes, then quarter each half for small bite-sized pieces.
  • Optionally, peel alternating stripes off the cucumber for aesthetics. Slice lengthwise, then dice into small pieces.
  • Chop the green onions into small pieces.

2- Combine Vegetables:

  • Place the diced tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and green onions into a large mixing bowl.

3- Add Aromatics and Spices:

  • Use a garlic press to crush the garlic clove directly into the bowl.
  • Sprinkle a small amount of dried dill and a generous amount of crumbled dried mint over the vegetables.
  • If desired, add finely chopped fresh mint for additional aroma.

4- Season and Dress:

  • Add a generous portion of lemon juice to the bowl, ensuring all vegetables are lightly coated.
