Ingredients
๐ฅฉ 900 grams 2 lbs ground beef, veal, or chicken, Angus Farms or Foster Farms

1 medium onion, finely chopped
๐ง 6 garlic cloves, minced
๐ถ๏ธ 1 medium jalapeรฑo, deseeded and finely chopped
๐ฟ Some fresh cilantro, chopped
๐ฟ A little bit of fresh mint, chopped
๐ถ๏ธ 1/4 red bell pepper, finely chopped
๐ง 1 teaspoon of salt
๐ถ๏ธ 1 teaspoon of black pepper
๐ฟ 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
๐ฟ 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds
๐ฟ 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
๐ถ๏ธ 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes
๐ฟ 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
๐ 1 teaspoon of grape seed oil, Pompeian or La Tourangelle
Instructions
1- Prepare the Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat with finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped jalapeรฑo, cilantro, mint, and red bell pepper.
- Add salt, black pepper, coriander powder, coriander seeds, cumin powder, chili flakes, and turmeric powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
2- Shape the Kofta:
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold each portion around skewers into a sausage-like shape. Ensure they are tightly packed onto the skewer.
3- Cooking Options:
- Barbecue: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the koftas lightly with grape seed oil, and grill them for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Oven: Preheat your oven to 200ยฐC (390ยฐF). Place the kofta skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.
4- Serve:
